Text Box: 	Cynthia Word and her troupe again presented the dances of Isadora Duncan locally last month at the Capital Fringe Festival.  The production was called “Revolutionary: Isadora Duncan’s Words, Music, Dance,” and included an actress reclining on a chaise longue interpreting excerpts from Duncan’s writings.  The show embodied Duncan’s iconoclasm and had a mood of “bohemian ardor,” according to the review in The Washington Post.

	All vehicle owners who challenged their citations for not stopping at the stop sign at Oxford Rd. and University Ave. have been found guilty, according to Officer Ed Paden, the off-duty police officer the town employs to enforce stops at that location…

	The town has now received $85,092 as its share of the state income tax, which is more than the budgeted amount of $78,000…

WITH TWO NEW BABIES

	Two little boys, born last month, will soon join the parade of little ones in strollers being pushed along the sidewalks of Glen Echo.
	Jon William McCaffrey was born July 3 at Sibley, weighing seven pounds, five ounces and reaching a length of 20 inches.  His proud parents are Julie Rosenthal and Mark McCaffrey of 6104 Harvard Ave. This is their first child.
	Luke William Roddy was born on July18, weighing eight pounds, 10 ounces and stretching to 21.5 inches in length.  He is the son of Kirsten and Mark Roddy of 5906 Oxford Rd. He joins his sister, Grace, in the Roddy household.
