Text Box: On Wednesday Aug. 22, Oxford Rd. resident Tom Helf and his band, Cravin' Dogs, will be among the many local acts paying tribute to Bob Dylan at Strathmore Hall in Bethesda, Maryland.  The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m., and will feature musical luminaries like The Nighthawks, Tom Principato, Tommy Lepson, Bill Kirchen, The Grandsons, Jon Carroll, John Jennings and The Brindley Brothers.  Tickets are $7.00, and can be purchased at Strathmore's Box Office (5301 Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda, Md.; 301-581-5100), or at www.strathmore.org.
 
	A Dragonfly and Damselfly Walk will be held at the River Center at Lockhouse 8 on Saturday, Aug. 11, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. as part of the continuing events presented by the Potomac Conservancy. A naturalist will lead a walk along the C&O Canal and the river, and explain the difference between dragonflies and damselflies.  To sign up, contact Heather Montgomery at Montgomery@potomac.org.

“Our Good Neighbor—Glen Echo” a two-part series, has been running in the Cabin John Village News.  Based primarily on the book “Glen Echo: The Remarkable Sage of a Very Small Town” by Carlotta Anderson, it emphasizes the common experiences of the two communities.
