The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m., and will feature musical luminaries like The Nighthawks, Tom Principato, Tommy Lepson, Bill Kirchen, The Grandsons, Jon Carroll, John Jennings and The Brindley Brothers. A Dragonfly and Damselfly Walk will be held at the River Center at Lockhouse 8 on Saturday, Aug. 11, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. as part of the continuing events presented by the Potomac Conservancy. A naturalist will lead a walk along the C&O Canal and the river, and explain the difference between dragonflies and damselflies.
