Text Box: LOVELY DAY, GOOD ATTENDANCE
TASTY FOOD AT TOWN PICNIC

A near-record attendance marked the annual town picnic on July 21 on the town hall lawn. Children had a special treat on the water slide that Clerk-Treasurer, Cathie Polak, who organized the party, obtained from Astro Events.
Hot dogs and hamburgers were grilled by Jim Shaut, Michael Brintnall, Willem Polak, and perhaps others.
Jan Shaut, Raya Bodnarchuk and Robin Kogelnik helped Cathie with the set-up and clean-up
Craig Hanna helped bring down the tables from the town hall second floor. Florian Kogelnik oversaw their return.
Many people contributed so many side dishes and desserts that it was like a Swedish Smorgesbord.
