The Yellow Barn Studio is under construction now and is expected to be completed in December. The Yellow Barn expects to be fully operational by the winter term that starts around Jan. 20.
Additional courses and instructors will be available, making the Yellow Barn Studio one of the larger studios in the D.C. area, behind the Corcoran, Montgomery College and the Torpedo factory.

Planning continues on the reconstruction of the fire-damaged maintenance shed, for which the National Park Service apparently has funds. A few roof designs are being discussed, and park artists may be provided interior storage space within it.
