On Saturday, Sept. 9, John Vecchiarelli’s sharpening service truck will be parked at Yale and University Aves. beginning at 8:30 a.m.  Mr. Vecchiarelli is a professional tradesman who took over the sharpening business from his father 11 years ago.  He immigated here with his family from Italy at age 9, and has lots of interesting stories to tell while working on y our tools.  From Carol Barton, Yale Ave. resident.
