Text Box: Dear Friends of Glen Echo!

Horace and I just received the April “Echo” and it has prompted me to write and let you know how much we have enjoyed reading each issue. We miss Shirley and this connection with the village and folks she loved has been a comfort to us…
We are in Iowa now—“grands” confirmation and graduation will have us here until late May. We will then scurry right back to Vermont for the May 27th memorial service for Shirley.
Wishing each of you a grand and enjoyable summer. Our thanks to you!

	Shirley and Horace Strong

(Ed.: Shirley and Horace Strong are the sister-in-law and brother of Shirley Strong, who died Nov. 29, 2005 and lived at 7300 University Ave.)
